Preventing and treating broken fillings
Causes:
Broken fillings can be caused by normal chewing but can occur more quickly when patients grind their teeth.
Prevention:
Bi-annual dental exams after a dental cleaning would allow the dentist to detect and promptly replace broken fillings before they become problematic.
